　私は自分の得た「京大に受かる英作文の書き方」のノウハウをできるだけ多くの人に伝えたいと思って、YouTube やツイッターに投稿し続けている。無名なままでは何を言っても伝わらない。だから、知名度を上げることが必須だと考えている。

　昨日（11/24,2023）の投稿で、初めて６５万アクセスを超えた。ただ、YouTube の再生回数５万回や、「私の京大合格作戦」（エール出版）に３年連続で漫画化されて紹介されても通信生の伸びはさほど変わらなかった。

　英検１級に合格しても、京大医学部に４名の合格者がでても、アメリカの新聞に２回紹介されても余り信用度が上がった実感はない。１０年連続して合格者が出ても通信生の申込者数はさほど変わらない。

　なぜなんだろう？

「京大英作文で８割超えをするための良い添削者を２名推薦してください」
　と尋ねてみてほしい。たぶん、私を推薦してくれると思う。先日はブログのある記事に４万回のアクセスがあった。教育系のブログにしては多いはず。

　さて、その結果何が起こったか？実は、ほとんど何も起こらない。町で２回ほど面識のない人から
「高木先生ですか？」
　と尋ねられただけ。これって、意味がない。やはり、ネットの力はテレビには及ばない。各分野のインフルエンサーがいるのだけど、それが誰かほとんど人はいない。駅前で有名芸能人の名前を知っているか尋ねたら９割近い人が知っているとしても、インフルエンサーの名前を知っている人など数パーセントだろう。

　やはり、ネットはテレビの力には及ばない。

　I keep posting on YouTube and Twitter to share my acquired know-how on "how to write English compositions that will be accepted by Kyoto University" with as many people as possible. If you remain unknown, nothing you say will get through. So I believe it is imperative to increase my name recognition.

　With yesterday's (11/24,2023) post, I exceeded 650,000 hits for the first time. However, the growth of correspondents did not change much even with 50,000 views on YouTube and the introduction of the manga version of "My Strategy to Pass Kyoto University" (Yale Publishing) for the third year in a row.

　The number of correspondence students who have applied for the program has not changed much even though there have been successful applicants for 10 consecutive years.

　Why is this?

　I would like you to ask them. Maybe they will recommend me. The other day, one of my blog posts received 40,000 hits. That must be a lot for an educational blog.

　Now, what happened as a result? Actually, almost nothing happened. I received a couple of calls in town from people I didn't know.
"Are you Takagi-sensei?"
　I was only asked twice in town by people I didn't know. This is meaningless. After all, the power of the Internet is not as strong as television. There are influencers in each field, but almost no one knows who they are. If you were to ask people in front of a train station if they knew the name of a famous celebrity, almost 90% of them would know the name of the influencer, but only a few percent would know the name of the influencer.

　After all, the Internet does not have the power of television.
