A long-haired, long-lashed, beautiful person

"A long-haired, long-lashed, beautiful person."

That was my favorite phrase in my childhood. I would say that whenever I drew a picture.

I checked the drawings my parents had kept. I realized that their hair was so long that it reached the ankles. Also, eyelashes protruded from the lines in their faces.

Thanks to Maetel, a character from Galaxy Express 999, I fostered a sense of beauty.

I wanted to grow my hair long, but my mother didn't let me do it. She hated long hair styles.

It was troublesome to take care of long hair. Short hair is easier than long hair. Lice infestations at school helped it.

After that, l have been keeping my hair short. Long-haired men are so attractive to me. I haven't escaped from the shadow of Maetel yet.

I take care of my eyelashes everyday with beauty essence to make them longer and thicker. Also, I have my eyelashes vertically permed.

The other day, I heard it from the news that Mr. Reiji Matsumoto, the author of Galaxy Express 999 passed away.

For me, Maetel is the criterion of beauty.
Therefore, I am writing this essay.
